The Fig Tree: A Timeless Symbol in Wrought Iron
Italy, Contemporary
Revered since antiquity and prominently featured in the Old Testament, the fig tree, alongside the vine, has long symbolized fertility, abundance, and the joy of life. Sacred across cultures, the fig is more than just a fruit—it is an enduring emblem of life, light, strength, and wisdom.
This sculptural interpretation in hand-forged wrought iron pays homage to the fig tree’s profound cultural and spiritual resonance. Both timeless and contemporary, it offers a powerful presence and symbolic depth—making it a striking and meaningful addition to any curated interior, private collection, or contemplative space.
